Jeano!
Thank you for your lovely comments on my blog! I wish I could take all the credit but lo...I cannot! The Lord has allowed me to experience events; then led me to write down the outcome of that experience spiritually! The work is not mine but His....placed on my heart to share with others.
As for your question: When ever I get a spiritual block I always re-examine my motives...Paul spoke of praying amiss....
James 2:3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
When ever we come before the Lord in petition I think we really have to examine our motives in what and why we are asking....Remembering God knows our hearts....
Especially in praying for the gifts I believe and this is only my opinion but I believe God wants to pour out the gifts on every one however, I also believe He examines your motive...with the highest level of scrutiny...Why do you want this spiritual gift? Is the question I would labor on! Rest assured God wants you to have the gift, however he may want you to re-examine the motive behind your desire for the gift....
I have found a lot of people who have little or no understanding of the Spiritual Language and its purpose. May I recommend a book that is very well done....The Beauty of Spritual Language by Jack Hayford I got my copy at Amazon.com and it was not expensive. However, it was very enlightning.
