We have a need for personal Spiritual Goals
Many years ago I was intrigued by Psalms 2 and 12
NKJ Psalm 2:12 Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, And you perish in the way, When His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.
My prayer became a desire to Kiss the Son; did I accomplish this as I look back I wonder where is that passion today?
I would like to share with you however my journal on this spiritual goal and how I responded to it at the time. However I shall once more ask God to renew my mind and passion as I once more seek to kiss the son.
This writing came from my 1994 journals:
My heart it is forever sealed with a search for abidance with my Father, for those who have glimpsed at his Glory know. There is no knowledge worth seeking lest it be of God. There is no wealth worth having lest it be of God. Our minds cannot conceive the wonder of God’s Glory; lest God seal us with a kiss. It leaves your heart forever willing to seek the words that please God’s ears, a heart set by God in search of the words to please God’s ears, for this simple act brings from within God’s peace. There is no other lest it be of God to share the wonder and Glory he stored away for us, less we glimpse at the kiss. Hearts forever bonded to share eternity with God. All made possible through God’s son Jesus the mystery unfolded in His flesh, blood and love displayed at Calvary. For from his flesh we learn the mystery and glory of His Kiss. Had I ten thousand live times it would never be enough to search one simple moment of the Son and the Glory Glimpse within His kiss. Yes, I strife forever more to know the Glory of one moment of one Kiss. To know each word he ever said, to abide daily within His love to share his wisdom and knowledge that others might see the glory waiting behind a simple kiss.
The tie that binds together the weary and the lost, for unto their destiny the words they share binds them together forever through the Masters love. That they might see the Glory he stored away for us. Seek the wisdom of the cross; seek the kiss of Jesus from above to seal your heart forever to His work and to His love. For once you glimpse at Glory no other way you see except His loving kindness sent down from above written in the word of God and written on your heart for all eternity. A bright and morning star awaits those who earnestly seek the Master; from above comes the birth that ignites eternal love. Clothed in scarlet for their battle to win the hearts of man onto the words of God written on their hearts from above, pray for strength and knowledge to fold this battle won for robes of white linen presented only from above. Battle lines are being drawn our hearts the means of strength to Jesus goes all glory and honor for it is of in Christ our strength lies; to strive to have the heart of Christ to learn daily of the plight He underwent that we might fight the fight. Jesus won all the battles He fought and overcame all our plights we must see his glory to understand His life. For truly there is no other, lay down your cardinal robes so Jesus knows you’re in the fight present them in humbleness for through their submission you will know a new life for Jesus already paid the price. The war is won the price is paid shall you be dressed for glory or just another fight? I humbly beseech thee Lord give us to understanding Lord of the things you say that warriors we may be, your sons and daughters assembling for the fight. I lay down my cardinal robes and flee nameless in the night, that Thou would bring me knowledge of my stand in the fight, for onto Jesus I give my soul my willingness to fight all goes onto His glory for Jesus hast saved me from the night. Become my imagination my being and my live for I will serve no other except my Jesus whose blood has saved my life. These things I ask my master, my redemption, in my king Jesus’ name. Amen
